What can I study with a Diploma pass? (South Africa)

A Diploma pass is a Matric pass level that can allow you to apply for diplomas at universities of technology and some universities — but admission depends on your APS and specific programme requirements.

Minimum requirements for a Diploma pass

In general, a Diploma pass requires:

Home Language: 40% or more
Three other subjects (excluding LO): 40% or more
Two other subjects: 30% or more
You must pass at least 6 of 7 subjects
